This Privacy Policy describes how Market Maven ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit marketmavenco.com and any related pages we operate (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We keep data collection minimal. The Site does not require an account, and we do not sell user data.

  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, the type of device and browser used, and approximate location derived from IP address. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information through analytics.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request information (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) for security, abuse prevention, and operational troubleshooting. These logs are retained for a limited period and not used for advertising.
  • Calculator inputs. The reseller calculators on the Tools pages run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
  • Watchlist content. The Daily Watchlist displays the same set of tickers and commentary to every visitor. We do not create per-user watchlists, and we do not store anything about individual visitors who view the page.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies set by Google Analytics to measure aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on, or use private/incognito browsing. Disabling cookies will not break the Site.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics (web analytics). See Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Alpha Vantage (market data provider for the Watchlist). Requests we send to Alpha Vantage contain only ticker symbols and our API key — no information about you.
  • Microsoft Azure (web hosting).
  • Outbound links to TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Substack, WhatsApp, Linktree, and similar platforms. Once you leave the Site, the destination's own privacy policy applies.

How we use information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Understand which pages and topics are useful to visitors;
  • Detect and prevent abuse, spam, or attacks; and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade visitor information. We share information only with the third-party service providers listed above (which act on our behalf) and where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Market Maven or others.

Data retention

Aggregated analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings. Server logs are kept for a limited operational window. We do not maintain per-visitor profiles.

Your choices and rights

  • You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the link above or your browser's privacy controls.
  • If you contact us by email, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
  • Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Email us at the address below to make a request.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page; please review it periodically.
